1st December 2018 will mark the 30th anniversary of the founding of World AIDS Day. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV. AIDS Concern will host “Red Festival” from 20 November to January:
- Raise general public awareness about HIV and what people can do to help
- Educate high risk community groups to know their risk and take action
- Build awareness about the support AIDS Concern offers
- Invite different parties to stop HIV
- To raise money to fund the community work on HIV education and care
By using red as the theme colour, hopefully this event can approach more people and spread the idea of nurturing respective diverse society. There are now many ways to prevent HIV transmission. We need to know our prevention method. Together we can remove the HIV virus from Hong Kong.
Red Festival includes various events: bar events, movie screening and voluntary activities, etc. Come and join us immediately!
