Thank you very much for joining the AIDS Concern Conference 2024. The event was of great success and ended. The next AIDS Concern Conference will be in March 2025
Join us at the AIDS Concern HIV Conference 2024: Science to Society, where we will address the crucial issue of disparities in HIV and sexual health. The conference aims to bridge the gap between science and society by exploring key topics that impact the well-being of the LGBT community. By bringing together academic experts, healthcare professionals, social workers, and community health leaders, we hope to break down service silos and take action to address social and structural determinants of health.
Face-to-face Conference details:
Date: 21 Mar 2024 (Thursday)
Time: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Location: Hyatt Regency, 18 Hanoi Road, Tsim Sha Tsui
The fight against HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) has made significant progress since 2015, but challenges remain. Certain groups continue to be disproportionately affected, and the stigma associated with HIV and STIs hinders access to care and exacerbates mental health issues and social marginalization. To prevent a resurgence of the epidemic, we need to address social and structural barriers and rejuvenate our efforts in HIV response.
With a focus on the three core elements of sexual health—physical, mental, and social well-being—the conference will feature keynote speakers, fireside chats, multidisciplinary themed presentations, and networking opportunities. These activities will facilitate the sharing of specialized knowledge and explore possibilities for integrated service models.
Join us as we adapt a new perspective and foster synergies between HIV, STI, and mental health care models. Together, we can champion a holistic approach to sexual health and work towards a more equitable future.
