Davyd is a qualified Australian and Hong Kong solicitor at YTL LLP. Prior to joining YTL, Davyd has worked in top tier Australia firms, magic circle firms, and as in-house counsel at KPMG. His practice covers a broad spectrum of corporate and banking related matters with expertise in finance, distressed investing, workouts, restructuring, insolvency and banking regulation. Davyd is also a passionate advocate for access to justice. In 2014, he founded Pro Bono HK, an independent local non-profit organization with a mission is to empower the impoverished, distressed, or vulnerable in our community to access justice so they can access opportunities on an equal footing, free from discrimination and unlawful, unfair, or unjust practices. In addition, he has and continues to serve on various committees of other charities and the Law Society of Hong Kong. He also served on the Council of the Law Society of Hong Kong from 2020 to 2023.
Davyd is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and the University of Hong Kong. He is also an accredited mediator (HKMAAL) and a fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators (HKIArb).
