In Hong Kong, the goal is to end AIDS by 2030.<\/p>\n
At AIDS Concern, we want to see ZERO new HIV infections, ZERO stigma for people living with HIV and ZERO AIDS deaths. With your support, we can make this happen sooner than later.<\/p>\n
We have a dedicated team of staff, volunteers and supporters, and we focus our effort where we know we can have the most impact. For example, safer sex education targeting individuals who are at the highest risk of HIV infection, professional HIV testing and sensitive support for people living with HIV.<\/p>\n
We never shy away from introducing innovative and cutting-edge approaches to enhance Hong Kong\u2019s HIV response. A robust and dynamic community response, together with evidence-based therapy, can control the epidemic and save lives.<\/p>\n
We will be working with the community to drive up the HIV testing rate, including HIV self-testing. We will also be educating the community about the opportunity of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) together with the importance of sexual health maintenance through our social enterprise, MY PLACE.<\/p>\n
Our advocacy will target better sexuality education for young people, proper access to HIV prevention and legal protection for LGBT+ people. Moreover, talking about sex and HIV should not be taboo, and we support people at risk of HIV to take control of their sex lives and sexual health.<\/p>\n
We rely on fundraising and grants from foundations and the government to support our work. Every dollar counts, and your support, no matter big or small, means a lot to us. So please join our cause in whatever way you can.<\/p>\n
