2015

Chief Executive Andrew Chidgey elected as the Chairperson of the Hong Kong Coalition of AIDS Service Organizations (2015-2017) to lead and facilitate communications among member agencies in the advocacy HIV/AIDS issues in Hong Kong.

2014

“Sexual Health Master Peer Counsellor Training Program” for youth has been nominated for the Apple Daily Charitable Foundations “Award of Service Excellence” and “Award of Innovative Service” of the year 2014.
The video series created by the students from the School of Design, Hong Kong Polytechnic University (BA (Hons) in Digital Media) for our people living with HIV support service website has been awarded the Best Digital Entertainment Award Special Mention (Directing) & (Short Film) in the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2014.

2013

TV commercial “Don’t be Haunted by your Sexual Past” has won the “Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility (Silver Award)” in the 2013 Marketing Excellence Awards.

2012

Former Programme Director Miss Panda Cheung is elected as the Chairperson of the Hong Kong Coalition of AIDS Service Organizations to lead and facilitate the communication between its member agencies in the advocacy of policy issues relating to HIV/AIDS in Hong Kong.

2011

Former Chief Executive Miss Loretta Wong is elected Alternate Board Member for the Developing Countries NGO Delegation of the Global Fund.

2010

Former Chief Executive Miss Loretta Wong is invited to present “How we work together? GO-NGO collaboration” in MSM HIV Prevention: Hong Kong Experience at the MSM Conference in Vienna, Austria.
Miss Wong is invited as one of the panelists in a lecture on “Conference of HIV/AIDS – a Scientific and Human Adventure in Response to an Emerging Epidemic”, and served as one of the keynote speakers along with Professor Françoise Barré-Sinoussi, recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine in the lecture.

2009

Created a Guinness World Record of “The Largest Condom Mosaic” to raise public’s awareness towards HIV/AIDS.
As a representative to attend the WHO's technical consultation on HIV/AIDS among men who have sex with men. This consultation was co-organised by the Western Pacific Regional Office of the World Health Organization, the United Nations Development Programme and the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS .

2008

“High Risk Youth Sexual Health Promotion Programme” and “Kissing You Volunteers Programme” are nominated for “Good Practice 2008-09: Handling Youths’ sex related issues" award from the Hong Kong Council of Social Service.

2006

“Kissing You Volunteers Programme” is awarded the “Creativity Award” from the Social Welfare Department.
Prevention programmes targeting men who have sex with men is again recognised as "Best Practice Collection - HIV and MSM in Asia and the Pacific" by the Joint United Nations Programmes on HIV/AIDS.

2005

Three prevention programmes targeting cross-border travellers, sex workers and their clients, and men who have sex with men are showcased in the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS Local Response Toolkit: “Technique and Practices for Local Responses to HIV/AIDS” as part of the worldwide effort to enhance local capacity to respond to HIV/AIDS.
Online safer sex education game is cited as an example of excellent online activism by former Human Rights Watch online advocate John Emerson.

2001

Former Chief Executive Mr. Graham Smith is awarded the “Chief Executive’s Commendation for Community Service” in the Hong Kong Government’s Annual Honours list in recognition of his contribution to the fight against AIDS in Hong Kong.

1999

Prevention programmes targeting the local sex industry and MSM were included as examples of best intervention work in the first “Summary Booklet of Best Practices” published by the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS.
