World AIDS Day 2013 "I'M Positive"
This year, AIDS Concern have decided to commemorate World AIDS Day with the theme “I’m Positive” aiming at promoting a PLHIV-friendly culture in Hong Kong.
While “POSITIVE” is commonly used to describe a person diagnosed with HIV, it can also be used to represent a positive and proactive lifestyle. It’s important for us to say ‘No’ to HIV but not to PLHIV (People living with HIV). Only a positive and open public attitude to HIV/AIDS and PLHIV can bring the proper prevention and treatment to both non-infected people and PLHIV.”
To promote World AIDS Day 2013, we have planned a series of events and the first one would be “I’M Postive @ Facebook” campaign. From now until December 31, we invite you to take a picture on the theme of "I'm Positive" and upload it towww.facebook.com/IMPositive to show your support for people living with or affected by HIV. And for every photo posted, Durex will donate a free condom to AIDS Concern.
